Maltesers products, heavily gamified in the real world, so what if this could be replicated on social? The proposal was to introduce a series of Instagram Story tap games covering the entire product portfolio. The ideas were there. Bunnies? Reverse whack-a-mole. Reindeer? A side-scroller in the clouds. With the concept given the green light, next came brainstorming the games, working out the mechanics, building the audio library and creating the pixel art. All the good stuff.

Games. Games. Games. Boosted engagement. More eyes on Maltesers for longer. General 8-bit goodness. Each game was inspired by real world behaviours, and made true to the spirit of each product. Not inspired by Flappy Bird at all, these games were designed to feature an 'Impossible' final level, intended to be just that.
